Product Description
This is a Micro controller based Digital Water Level Recorder (Pressure type) reflect state of the art in micro controller based instrumentation design. The Water Level sensor can be attached with this data logger for the collection of real time data automatically. The micro controller has its internal memory along with an additional 128K EEprom, a real time clock with an LCD (16 x 2) to display the instrument status. Piezoresistive silicon strain gauge, bounded to 316 SS diaphragm and integral cable contain a vent tube for Barometric pressure compensation. Comes with different ranges 10, 35, 100, 200, 300 meters. This instruments is used for ground / wells water level.
How it Works
- Sensing Pressure: A hydrostatic sensor, typically a piezoresistive silicon strain gauge, is submerged in the water. It measures the pressure exerted by the water column above it.
- Barometric Compensation: A vent tube is integrated into the sensors cable to allow for atmospheric pressure compensation. This accounts for changes in air pressure, ensuring the recorded pressure accurately reflects only the water columns weight.
- Data Logging: A microcontroller-based data logger connected to the sensor records the pressure readings at set intervals.
- Data Conversion: The logger converts the pressure data into water level data, often saving it in an Excel-compatible format.
- Data Retrieval/Transmission: Data is retrieved and stored internally, with options for real-time or scheduled transfer via:
- Data Shuttle: A handheld device that connects to the logger to transfer data to a computer.
- Telemetry: Using GSM/GPRS or Ethernet services to send data to a remote server or computer.
- Mobile App: Some models offer setup and data viewing via Bluetooth/USB connection to a mobile app.
