Product Description
Bridge Outfit
A "bridge outfit" is a piece of hydrology equipment, a portable, often aluminum, crane-like structure with a gauging reel and winch, used to suspend instruments like current meters from a bridge for water flow and sampling. Key specifications often include a max load capacity (e.g., 100 kg), cable length (e.g., 50m), and compatibility with instruments according to standards like IS 6064-1971.
We are the prominent manufacturer and supplier of excellent quality CraneBridge Outfit. Offered system is designed and manufactured by adroitprofessionals using world class aluminium and is equipped with 4 wheels withsolid rubber tyres for easy movement. Checked on various quality parameters, this system is available in various technical specifications as per the clientsrequirements at very nominal price.
Features:
- High performance

FAQs of Bridge Outfit:
Q: How is the Bridge Outfit used for measuring water velocity in a river or canal?
A: The Bridge Outfit is manually operated from a bridge or similar structure above the water body. A sensor or sampler is lowered into the stream, where it measures the velocity of water flow, allowing for accurate hydrological assessments for industrial or research purposes.
Q: What does the Bridge Outfit include, and is it easy to use?
A: Each set comes with the main measuring device and a detailed user manual. Its entirely manual design makes it straightforward to operate, with no need for batteries or electrical connections, making it ideal for both field researchers and industrial users.
Q: When should I use the Bridge Outfit instead of other measuring devices?
A: This outfit is best suited for situations where electricity is unavailable, in harsh climates ranging from -20 to 60C, or where large capacity (up to 20 tons) and robust durability are required. Its particularly beneficial for industrial sites and environmental monitoring projects.
Q: Where can the Bridge Outfit be deployed for sample collection?
A: It is designed for use on bridges over rivers or canals, enabling access to the central water flow for suspended sediment sampling. Its substantial dimensions and weight make it suitable for fixed installations in industrial or research settings.
Q: What is the process for collecting suspended sediment samples with this device?
A: The operator lowers the sampler into the moving water using a manual winding mechanism. Once at the required depth, the device collects suspended sediments, which can then be retrieved and analyzed for research or compliance purposes.
Q: How does manual operation benefit fieldwork with this equipment?
A: Manual operation ensures compatibility with remote sites lacking electricity. It also reduces the risk of electronic malfunction, enhances reliability, and simplifies maintenance, making it ideal for extended field studies.
Q: What are the main benefits of using the Bridge Outfit in industrial water monitoring?
A: This device offers unmatched durability, significant sampling capacity, and the flexibility of deployment in power-scarce environments. Its robust design and manual operation support continuous, dependable measurements for industrial compliance and scientific studies.
